1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ResuRanker.com ("we," "us," or "our") and any associated Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, then you may not access or use our Services.

2. Description of Service

ResuRanker.com provides resume ranking and matching services through the upload of resumes and job descriptions, using AI-based analysis to evaluate candidate qualifications against job requirements.

3. User Accounts

Registration: You may be required to create an account using your email or Google account via Firebase. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Usage and Conduct

Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to upload any unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content; not to use the Services in a manner that violates any law; not to interfere with or disrupt the Services; and not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.

Content Ownership and Responsibility: You retain ownership of the resumes and job descriptions you upload. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of the content you provide, and for obtaining any necessary consents from candidates whose information you upload.

5. Payment and Subscription

Billing: Certain features may be offered only to paid subscribers, with payments processed through Stripe. Our free plan allows you to process up to 3 resume rankings per week with up to 5 resumes per ranking.

Refunds: Refund requests should be directed to contact@resuranker.com, and will be handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with our refund policy (if applicable).

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All trademarks, logos, and service marks (excluding user-uploaded content) are the intellectual property ofResuRanker.com or its licensors. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your personal or internal business purposes.

7. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services for AI-based resume analysis, Firebase for authentication, and Stripe for payment processing. We are not liable for the actions or omissions of these third-party service providers.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that defects will be corrected. While we strive for accuracy in our resume ranking algorithms, we do not guarantee that rankings will perfectly predict candidate suitability for any particular position.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ResuRanker.com and its officers, directors, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to damages resulting from hiring decisions made based on our resume rankings.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ResuRanker.com, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account or access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in activity harmful to us or others.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action will be brought in the courts of Switzerland.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the Services after changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
